Jan 28th - Signed our Tender and paid $3000 to Rawson

Mar 2nd - Received our Check Plans
Mar 12th - Check plans sent back with Variations
Mar 22nd - More variations signed and sent back
Mar 26th - External colour selections sent (and more variations)
Mar 29th/30th - Amendments to External Colours

April 4th - Loan approval received
April 20th - DA Plans Received for us to sign off and do landscape mark up
April 21st - Tiles ordered from Jacoba
April 24th - DA plans & Landscape markup sent back to Rawson

May 1st - Design Approval Lodged with Stockland
May 2nd - Internal Selection Appointment booked for June 27th
May 9th - Designed Approved by Stockland
May 10th - Plans sent to Hunter Water
May17th - Plans back from HW and $7000 paid for plans to be lodged with council
May 18th - DA lodged

Jun 8th - DA approval received (letter from Rawson actually came on July 6th)
Jun 18th - Blank electrical plan received for us to do mark up
Jun 27th - INTERNAL SELECTIONS APPOINTMENT!
Jun 29th - First variation for electrical plan received

July 4th - Colour variations received
July 12th - after many changes and back and forwards, internal selections signed off and sent back!!
July 26th - Plans FINALLY sent to the Certifier 
July 30th - Final changes made to widen Island bench

Aug 3rd - Construction Certificate received and Letter to Commence issued by bank

Aug 6th - Prices amended on benches (cheaper)
Aug 8th - Further corrections to bathroom vanities :/ hopefully no more changes
Aug 14th - SS received the plans!!
Aug 23rd - Won a voucher for $200 from Rawson
Aug 23rd (WEEK 1)- Site Fence went up and port-a-loo delivered
Aug 31st (WEEK 2)- Form work started - concrete piers and half of the wooden base

Sep 5th (WEEK3)- Plumbing completed and Waffle Pods delivered
Sep 10th and 11th - Formwork completed
Sep 12th - Slab poured
Sep 13th (WEEK 4)- Pest control
Sep 14th and 15th - Frames delivered and Ground Floor started to be assembled!
Sep 15th - Invoice for first progress payment received (Slab payment)
Sep 17th & 18th - Second Story frame put up
Sep 20th (WEEK 5)- Roof!!
Sep 21st Windows and doors + invoice for the second progress payment (Frame)
Sep 24th - Bricks delivered (not happy with colour)
Sep 25th - Hubby met with SS (was meant to be both of us but SS had down the wrong time so I was already late for work)
Sep 26th - Success!! Brick company has agreed to change the bricks
Sep 27th (WEEK 6)- Horrible bricks removed and new Bricks delivered along with the sand etc

Oct 2nd (WEEK 7 - 10)- Bricking has started
During Oct - Bricks completed, Gutters and roof on. Top level of bricks cleaned (unsure of exact dates as we were in Bali)

1st Nov - (WEEK 11)
5th Nov - Plumbers started
6th Nov - Scaffold completed for Eaves to start and materials for Eaves delivered
7th Nov - Invoice for third Progress payment paid (Bricks) Only 2 to go!!
9th Nov - (WEEK 12) Eaves in and Cladding finally started
15th Nov (WEEK 13 - 14) -Nothing to update becuase no one worked on the site!
26th Nov (WEEK 15) - Timber Feature started at front of the house (Cladding still needs to be finished)
27th Nov - Site clean up - they thru out some of the bricks we wanted :(
29th and 30th Nov - Cladding and timber screen completed!! Finally!!

5th Dec (WEEK 16) - Painters on site to paint the outside parts of the house
6th Dec - Scaffold taken down and electrician on site
7th Dec - Met with SS and electrician on site to go over electrical, scaffold officially gone! And waterproofing completed
10th Dec - Insulation delivered and eaves/gutter installed on garage and alfresco
12th Dec - Lower rook completed (garage and alfresco)
13th & 14th Dec (WEEK 17) - Insulation installed!!
18th Dec - Timber feature on front facade installed
19th &20th Dec (WEEK 18) - Gyprock installed
21st Dec til 7th Jan (WEEK 19-20) - HOLIDAYS for the builders :(

7th Jan - Gyprock sealed
8th Jan (WEEK 21) - Ceiling installed
9th and 10th Jan - Cornices installed
14th Jan - Invoice for fourth Progress Payment paid (internal linings) 75.65%
17th Jan (WEEK 22) - Garage door and front door installed
18th Jan - Stairs installed, doors and architraves delivered and stacker doors fixed to close
21st Jan - Carpenter started installing doors
22nd Jan - Holes cut for powerpoints etc
24th Jan (WEEK 23)- Met with SS on site and also with lady to do blinds and shutters
29th Jan - Skirting and architraves continued
31st Jan (WEEK 24) - Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities installed and skirting continued again

4th Feb - Tilers started on wet areas and second last progress payments paid - Fix Out (90%)
8th Feb (WEEK 25 - 26)- Tilers finished and I also contacted Tile direct in order to look into purchasing extra wall tiles for floor to ceiling bathroom tiling
11th Feb - Caeserstone Benchtops installed in the kitchen (and undermount sink)
18th Feb - Tilers back to complete bathrooms and gyprockers arrived to finish off stairs and kitchen bulkheads
18th Feb - Meeting with SS on site
19th Feb - Painters meant to be on site - they weren't
20th Feb (WEEK 27)- Painters meant to be on site - they weren't
22nd Feb - Noticed Hole not cut in Caeserstone for power point
26th Feb - Met with Site supervisor on site again - Painters arrived!!
28th Feb (WEEK 28)- Gyprockers and Plasterers back to fix holes etc

1st March - Painters continued and hole cut in Caeserstone Bench
5th March - Electricians on site to start fit out - SS confirmed aircon, lights taps etc to be fitted by the end of next week
6th March (WEEK 29)- Plumber on site to install taps and toilets (discovered wrong sink installed in Powder Room and the tiles will need to be removed to move tap points)
9th March (a Saturday!!!) - Floor sanders in and wardrobes installed by Joel - an extremely helpful guy from Stegbar who made my WIR just how I wanted it :)
12th March (WEEK 30) - met with SS on site to go over some things that may be able to be fixed before our handover inspection next week. Today should see tilers coming to do kitchen splash back and fix bathroom tiles. First clean is booked for Thursday
13th March - Kitchen guys back to fix kitchen and construction fence removed
14th March - First clean of the house
16th March - Lights installed
18th - 22nd March (WEEK 31) - Painters back in to do touch ups, cleaner attempted a shocking clean, PCI Inspection and outstanding jobs listed, airconditioner installed

25th March - HANDOVER - Recieved the keys!!
