Long over due update

So it has been a while since I have updated the blog.. This may have something to do with the fact that basically everything we own happens to be in storage at the moment including our computer :(

So we are getting pretty close to handover now (hopefully monday week) if all goes to plan we should be moving in over the Easter long weekend!

I have plenty of pictures to update so without any further adieu

Our beautiful feature wall - I am asking the painters to leave the paint behind so that we can add a bit more on to it now that I have seen the colour

Our pile of dirt that we spent Sunday Shovelling and now we have someone that will be delivering another 4o tonne :D

KITCHEN!!

After the Rangehood and oven were installed but before splashback

Now that our splashback has been installed :D

Nice kitchen taps!

BATHROOMS!!!

Vanities

WALK IN WARDROBE!!!

Plenty of hanging space and draws

  2. Hi, I have been following your blog entries for a while now. My wife and I are also looking at building This house with few structural changes. Can you tell me if you were happy with the overall experience with Rawson Homes?

    1. Thanks tarsha. We had our first meeting with them on Tuesday (in Sydney homeworld V) We are looking at the knock down rebuild scenario. Our initial meeting was good and informative but the costs of "on-site preparation" seemed very high, even for estimations. approx $50K before we even look at the house cost itself. i was told a more precise figure would be given after the site survey though.

    2. Not a problem :) I don't have much experience with the KDR scenario but if you have a look on the home one forum there are a few people on there doing it and there is a few different threads about Rawson homes in the Building section as well
